Like so much this year, Palm Sunday will be like no other, but somethings do not change Jesus is still our servant king and we can be encouraged to follow his path.
There is a Morning Prayer service from the Cathedral with Bishop Richard available in a variety of ways on the Diocesan Website.
There will be a livestream on our facebook page of Evening Prayer at 5.30 which will have the Passion Reading and reflection.
If you are nostalgic you can watch the recording that was made of our Palm Sunday Service in 2017. The recording starts just after the Procession of the Palms. Bp Chris Jones is the Celebrant and The Dean is the Preacher.
From Thursday, April 9th, 2020 until Sunday, April 12th, 2020
This will be an Easter like no other perhaps in the history of the Christian Church as believers around the world will be unable to gather.
There will be a Good Friday and Easter Day Service from the Cathedral available from the Diocesan website.
There is a live stream of the stripping of the sanctuary on Maundy Thursday at 7.30pm and An Easter Vigil with lighting of the Pascal Candle at 6.15 on Easter Morning. Both will be available to watch after the event. The text of the Vigil is here. Easter 615 2020.
We hope you can join us on line as we affirm, even in these difficult times
Christ is Risen. Alleluia. He is risen indeed. Alleluia.
