Persecution GraffitiAre you a Christian?  A question that could be one of life or death in the early Church.  How do we respond now?

The picture is piece of anti Christian graffiti found in Rome from the second century which pictures a man with a donkey’s head on a cross with a man raising his hand towards him. The scrawled words say “Alexamenos worships his god”

Whilst we may ignore history much of the Bible is history, in Jesus God enters history and ultimately God will judge history which shows that God cares about history.  If God cares about history what can we learn from those who have gone before us in the story of the Church and the task that Jesus gave us and them.Great Commission Revisited
