Time Team Christianity

Sunday, April 7th, 2013 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm

Looking at the basics of Christian Faith from the Gospel of Luke over 5 weeks as part of our Evening Prayer Service.  Stripping away the layers to get back to the true heritage of Christianity. No archaeological experience necessary and Tony Robinson will not be appearing.

Sunday, April 14th, 2013 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm

If you would like to think through Christian heritage, in our 6:30 Evening Prayer service we will continue to peal away additions and traditions as we look at what was originally taught about Jesus by Luke.

This week who did Jesus think he was?

No experience necessary. If you missed last week we can quickly fill you in on the story so far.

Soul Walk: Thoughts on a Footpath

Sunday, April 21st, 2013 from 5:00 am to 6:30 am

Mixing it up a little at Soul Walk this week.

Here’s the plan:

  • A normal start (5pm at 121 Macquarie St), sharing some life, looking at some words. (We’re currently following Jacob through the pages of Genesis – chapter 28)
  • Then we’ll wander to a place that is open for coffee (suggestions welcome, leave a comment below).

Here’s the challenge: Can we relate the walk with Jacob, to our walk down the footpath (figuratively speaking or otherwise!)

See you then.

Sunday, April 21st, 2013 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm

If you would like to think through Christian heritage, in our 6:30 Evening Prayer service we will continue to peal away additions and traditions as we look at what was originally taught about Jesus by Luke.

So far Christianity is all about responding appropriately to Jesus, who as the Christ possessed the authority of God.

This week what did Jesus think he was doing?

No experience necessary. And you should be home in time for Dr Who!
